Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Went here with 3 friends last night and we had an incredible time! Staff was super sweet, food all incredible and despite overordering it was just under 120€ between the 4 of us. Especially loved the mango chicken, kottu & dosai! Can't speak on the authenticity and it seems like there's plenty of overlap with Indian food, but what I can speak on is the taste and everything was genuinely fantastic, highly recommend! Card accepted, also take reservations."
"We went to this place with office colleagues on a busy Thursday. It was quite a walk from office but it was worth. Firstly this is not a srilankan place it’s a South Indian restaurant. What a food they have it’s awesome. We were so hungry they served 7 people a free soup and bread. We ordered a lot of stuff. Only chutney was not so great rest everything perfect."
"Delicious! I’d never had specifically Sri Lankan food before but I love Indian food and this was great. I shared the Mutton Rolls () and Sambar Paratha for starters. And then the batura (buttery puffed up bread ), Kozzi Masala Kurri (tomato chicken curry), and Kozzi Mango Kurri (sweet mango flavor!) for the main meal. Everything was so delicious and especially pairing a savory curry with a sweet curry was excellent. Make sure to get the Mango Lassi as to drink!"
"This is a wonderful Indian/Sri Lankan restaurant! I tried several dishes, and the appetizers, bonda and vade, were absolutely delicious. For the main course, I had lamprais and kottu, both of which were very good. Do note that lamprais is available only on weekends. The place tends to get quite busy, so it’s best to make a reservation in advance. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the overall experience even better."
"Good authentic srilankan food. We ordered chicken kothu parrota, which was very good and had spicy touch to it. The mutton rolls were tasty. We were warmly welcomed, and the staff were polite and chatted with us for some time. We would highly recommend this place and would visit again."
"What a wonderful place! The food is over the top. We started with bonda; ordered (Sri Lankan) dhal and rice for our kids; masala dosa, jackfruit curry and mango lassi. Everything just tasted perfect and we say this as people who had been to India many times. We were with our two kids and it was a busy friday evening yet they still were able to accomodate us. Very delicious food in a setting with fast service. Thank you very much. We will be back!"
"A south-Asian in Berlin who never tried Sri-Lankan dish till now! I was so excited to try the "Adu Kottu", because for me it was a very new dish... and I loved it! Flavorful and balanced, i wish it was spicier- but still way better than imagined. The scampi curry was good as well."
"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Absolutely incredible experience!** OMG, the food here is *AMAZING*! I genuinely couldn’t stop eating — and I kept stealing bites from my friends’ plates because every single dish was just that good. The chicken was unbelievably tender, literally melting in your mouth. The rice, the sauces… everything was perfectly seasoned and bursting with flavor. And the bread… oh. my. god. It’s to die for. Fresh, soft, and insanely delicious. On top of that, the staff was outstanding — super friendly, helpful, and genuinely attentive to our needs. They even advised us *not* to overorder (especially the bread!) because the portions are generous. How often do you see that kind of honesty? Highly recommended! I’m already planning my next visit back to Berlin."
